Hi guyz, i am new to wakeskating, i bought a brand new hyperlite catalyst 116 i am 250 pounds i want to know at what lenght rope i should skate also at what speed, and better way to get up, laying on my baclk feet on the skate, idle water push the skate so i can start to get polace in wakeboard position and after its same thing than wakeboarding to get up ???

To get up, start in the same position you would for getting up on a wakeboard. Hold the handle out in front of you just like you would for getting up on a wakeboard, but use the fingers from one or both hands to keep the board up against your feet. Ask the driver to put the boat in gear (idle speed) when you are in the right position so that the slight pull of the boat helps to push you against the skate and keep it pressed to the bottom of your feet. Have the driver take off a little slower than for pulling up a wakeboarder, but everything else is the same as far as you standing up.
