I have a 2002 Larson SEI 190. The boat is 18.5 ft. I bought 2 300lb sacs to put on either side of the engine compartment. I am wondering how I should weight the rest of the boat. I was going to put around 330lbs in the ski locker in the middle of the boat but I think maybe that will be too much weight towards the back of the boat for an I/O. I thought maybe it would be better to put some weight in the bow under each front seat. Well if anyone out there has experience with a boat of this kind your feed back would be great.

I have the same length boat, wake does best with most of your weight in the bow, the engine is heavy enough in the back with peeps, throw those sacs in the bow and trim up your prop a little...

So you are not putting any weight in the back? I don't think I can fit the sacs that I bought will fit under the seats in the front. I was thinking I might leave the 600lbs in the rear and maybe 3-400 under the seats up front. What is your exact set up Riverfreak? What do you recommend for sacs in the front (brand, size ect..)

Def get your weight in the front. I run a 600 pound sac in the walk through + 300 pounds of water/sand/lead under the bowseats & chain locker. In the back I have two 500 pound sacs either side of the motor but I only fill them right up if there is only the driver in the boat. With 4-6 peeps in the boat the back sacs might be 1/2 fill or less.

Yup
