Simply amazing. Congrats National Champions! Enjoy your championships, looking forward to more at Worlds! Way to represent the left coast! I actually got a call from Tom Conway, must have been a few minutes after Derek had won, he couldn't have been more proud!! Said that Derek didn't know what to think, was still letting it all sink in.

And to all our friends who went to Nationals to compete, hats off to you guys for having the courage & detemination to go for it!

Thanks Jeff!! Derek and Tom both deserve this. Derek for his riding and Tom for what he puts into the sport of wakeboarding. It was nice bonding with Gwen again too, we only see eachother at these events.
And Lauren is just the sweetest girl. Her and Cheryl looked like they had a great time together and she brought home the trophy!! Congrats to the Jewetts!!

Tom: what did Derek throw down in his pass?

His wake tricks on the first pass were a tootsie, whirly, & 7 . The second pass was a double grab 3, crail back roll and roll2blind. On the DU he hit a big double grab 5. He did not slide that well but he was still very happy with the run.
