WSR/WSWA SPRING RIDE 2007

West Side Riders Wakeboard School and Water Ski Wakeboard Alberta (WSWA) are proud to present you with Spring Ride 2007. Come out and join us June 16 and 17th to kick the season off out at Lake Isle! (45 min West of Edmonton)

Spring ride is an all age’s event that provides a chance to come out and meet new people and start the season in a fun filled manner. Spring ride is an opportunity to get out and ride behind a pro level wakeboard boat, get some top quality instruction, and a chance to walk away with some free shwag!

It’s a great opportunity to brush up on skills from last season or get some new skills to push you to that next trick or the next level of riding you see yourself!

The cost of this event will be $40 dollars and includes two sets of riding behind a top level boat with coaching. From WSR Wakeboard School:

“WSR Wakeboard School philosophy is to provide quality coaching, smooth water and the best equipment available. We believe everyone rides at a different pace and we customize their lesson to fit their personal goals.”

Water Ski Wakeboard Alberta member ship will be on top of this at a cost of $20 dollars for a family membership. From the WSWA website:

“Active WSWA Membership $20
For Single and Family Memberships
(1+ people within one household)
*Please include all family members
Membership benefits includes:
- Participation in any WSWA programs
(Tournaments/coaching/officials/boat driving clinics, etc…)
- Discounts at WSWA partner marine retailers
- Option to purchase discounted boat insurance through WSWC's Towsmart Program
- Receive all newsletters and publications from WSWA and WSWC
- Voting privileges at all WSWA General Meetings
- Ability to run for and be elected to the WSWA Executive Board
- Eligible to compete in all sanctioned competitions within AB
- Eligible for subsidies for coaching within AB
- Eligible for subsidies for extended training season “

We encourage interested participants to register early and they can do so by phone, email, or through WSWA.

Directions to the event are as follows!

Take Hwy 16 or 16AWest of Edmonton past Wabamun
Follow Hwy 16 until you see Wabamun Shell Gas Station continue past approx 3 Km to sign that says Darwell(Hwy 765) turn Right follow to four way stop Approximately 9 Km at 4 way stop turn left (Hwy 633) follow road to sign that says Southview (approx. 4 km TWP Rd 541A) turn left. Now you should be on a gravel road that will immediately bend right follow to the pavement.

Once you're near Shawn's house look for signs to point you towards the lake!

Here's hoping to see some of you there!
