Hi my name is Aaron, I'm broke because i'm addicted to wakeboarding. All my money goes to gas, stereo for the boat, wakeboards, rope, bindings, maintance for the boat, it must always run. I call friends everyday to go wakeboarding and get yelled at me because 530 am is too early to call on a work day to go ride.

Hi, my name is mike, and I have been addicted for 2 years. I find myself staring at any body of water and wondering, "will my boat fit in there?"
I warm up my work truck for 15 minutes on April mornings, yet plunge into the water without hesitation.
I find myself cursing at the wind. A roast beef is no longer just a sandwich. Having a backroll is a good thing.
I have been wake free for 24 hours and I hate it.

Hi my name is Mark, I don't think I have a problem, but my friends think I do. My girlfriend says she doen't know me during the summer because I'm either wakeboarding or doing something wake related. I too lay awake at night thinking "why can't I land that trick" right now I'm at work and I'm discussing wakeboarding and wishing the sun would come out so I could go tonight. Well Maybe I have a slight problem.

Hi, my name is Dave and I have the biggest problem of all. I have no time to go wakeboarding anymore, and none of my friends are into watersports. I'm to busy with things other people thing are more important. I cry at night.

Hello, my name is Jon. I have been an addict for 3 years. Some people say that I'm too old and fat to board. I tell them that I hope to be doing inverts when I'm 60. When my daughter brings home boyfriends that don't board, I look at them like something the cat left in the flower bed. People tell me that there are more categories on Ebay than boats and wakeboards, and I ask why. I just don't see the problem.

Um, Hi.My name is Shawne, I think. I used to have a lot of friends, now I have only one. He calls me names like "boat whore and mooch" but only to my face. My wife says that I'm married, but I don't believe her. How could I marry someone who doesn't wakeboard? I asked the doctor for something to cure my problem, but he slolam ski's. What does he know;probably got his degree at Kroger! Am I ramblin'? My head hurt's from to many crash's, but I keep going back. Is that a bad thing?

Hey my name is Carrie and i have been addicted to wakeboarding for 2 years now and just got in from wakeboarding this afternoon and i need to go back out already. People tell me im crazy cuz all i do is wakeboard and i just look at them and tell them they're jealous cuz they cant wakeboard ! The sport takes over me during the summer pretty much; its like a drug - very addictive

I dont think twelve steps will be enough! I'm definatly going to need more. I think it may take a "stairway" to heaven before I'm cured.

My family and friends suggested that I join this group because I take my wakeboard on business trips and strive to get a ride every night I am on the road. What do you guys think?

Hi, my name is Adam and I have been an addict for over three years. My biggest problem with my addiction is the propensity to hate things....rain, tubers, jetskis, rollers, chop, wind, work, and not wakeboarding.

Hi, my name is Chris and I curse everything and anything that keeps me from wakeboarding. When I go out and the wind picks up, I curse, when the sun is out and there is not wind and every other boat is out, I curse at them (in my mind), I hate the idea of a body of water being used for anything that will mess up my little vat of butter. My girl thinks I have a problem with my drinking, but that is because I stay at home wishing I could wakeboard. When sex is offered as compensation, I ask if we can go out in the boat and do it in the garage. I have a tower now, so pole dances on my skypole don't work any more. My addiction has me on this friggin' thread all day at work, and my boss tells me if it weren't for the 20 million $ in sales I somehow pull out of my Arse, I would be able to wakeboard all the time because my job would be given to some nitwit who surfs the net for porn all day, and that is OK, but my addiction won't fly. If he only knew.

Hi my name is drew, is it unnormal to sleep with your wakeboard instead of your girlfriend?

my name is dave, i am addicted to wakeboarding, its all i ever think about. i spend so much time on wakeworld, i don't even ride. seriously, i could sit here and post about stupid things all day instead of riding or doing anything even somewhat beneficial to society. ok i have to go try and sell my boat now so i have money to make some computer upgrades to post faster on wakeworld.

Every time i have to look at my wakeboard in the corner my bones ache from not being on the water. i get water rage when my friends cant find time to go.

Do you think my health insurance will cover "WA" meetings and pay for the twelve step program? My habit is pushing $800 a month...I need help.

hi, my name is leslie. i've been addicted to wakeboarding for the last 2 years. i'm broke as a joke cause i spend all my money on wakeboarding stuff. my parents laugh at me when i tell then i would rather be scraping by and wakeboarding in some exotic place, than making millions doing some boring job. i've tried the 12 step program above, but for some reason its not working...

Hi, my name is Mark, and I am in the same boat (no pun intended) everyone else. No money, cynical friends...for 3 whole years.
