My 06 X2 had MCs standard motor the RTP 310hp and it looked sooooo primitive with the round flame arrester thingamabob almost like a rainbird sprinkler top. So I put this carbon fiber look a like hood scoop on it. What do ya think?

I dont know why MC doesnt change it. The performance of the RTP is excellent, but it looks 20yrs old.

Exactly. They want to give you a visual reason to upgrade.

That and 40hp, the old 310hp TBI Predator had a decent look to it. The MCX has Cats on it as well.

Billy... I think you spend too much time with the hatch open. The only time I open that thing is if the boat doesn't run.... LOL!!

The rest of the time we're riding, or there's a girl sunbathing on top of it.

Nice though....

I do agree. That motor works great for 90% of applications. The torque numbers are almost exactly the same as the MCX.
