Finally bought it!

After a lot of research, procrastinating (and dreaming about it!) I finally bought the CWB Sapphire (2009). I had my eye on the Sapphire for a long time, but I wanted to look around first before buying it, which was stupid because I saw a blem on sale for $100 and missed it!

I haven't had a chance to ride it yet, but I can't wait!!

It's so different from my old board, which did have two molded fins, but it also had a smooth base, with no channels or beveled spine, and a continuous rocker. Also, I like to ride finless, but edging out was very slippery on my old board, so I'm hoping this one holds an edge better.

The only thing is, my bindings don't match anymore (like it really matters!) and I've been shopping for the 2009 Embers to go with it. Hubby's not gonna like this...
