FL Water Conditions

Im heading do to FL in a few days since I just finished my school semester.. Does anyone have any idea about the water conditions around Orlando or specifically at OWC? Thanks for your help...

Cold front is comign through so most of the locals will wait out the cold...should be a ghost town if you go during the cold. All last winter when I went I trunked it and was fine... but I was use to Wisco water... worst comes to worst get a heater top,

and even if its windy its should be fine

Nick hit it right. Cold front on the way so we will all be in hiding. Most water temps are around 68 which is cold for us this early into our winter

Well around orlando its pretty good, Butter is not hard to come by. OWC is the same as it always is - rider chop but nothing crazy.
I wear a spring wetsuit and I'm fine.

I live about 40 minutes away and I'll admit its colder than us locals are used to but its not unbearable, plus the riding time you can get in (no wait to ride) is a bonus.

not sure about Orlando but today air = 78 and water = 68. It has definitely been colder than normal though so today was nice.

i would give anything for 68 degree water temps in washington right now, you florida guys have it EASY

The water in the pool is so cold I can't even get in till I had at least 3 margaritas

Rode today, Water is cold!!! The water temp usually is not this cold until Jan/ Feb. I puss-ed out & put on the half suit!

Sounds like summer water in Ohio. I will be in Orlando in a month and as long as the temps are above 50 I fully plan on trunking it.

Yup. but only for like 4/5 weeks this time, if I take another semester of online stuff my mom will skin me.

sweet thanks everyone... Im just getting over a knee injury so Im itching to get back out on the water...OWC should be a great place to take it slow and session some rails...I cant wait!!
