Lake Mahopac, NY

Anyone ride there or know the lake? How is it for riding weekends, early morning mostly?
I'm thinking of heading up one day in July with some friends.

It's pretty small. Not many people on the lake and there are no nice public ramps so that kind of discourages people. It is not too closed though so if it is windy it will become kind of choppy.

Dave,

My roomate from college grew up in Mahopac. We used to go on one of his friends boats often to just cruise, before my wakeboarding days though. Was a cool lake and pretty damn small. Not sure how flat it gets or anything though. A cool area though.
