I searched around on old threads for a while and couldn't find the answer to my question.. what exactly is the difference in between the two besides the core?

The platinum is stiffer. It snaps harder off the wake for me. Some say it hards a little harder, I can't tell though.

I have always preferred the Platinum.

NorCal MC in Pleasanton sells 2007 Platinum pro models for 439 right now.
