Ok Im new here but Ive been lurking around for a while.

Its time for me to step up from the little runabout I call a wakeboard boat. Lets face it me putting a tower on it was like putting lipstick on a pig and not to mention a waste of money.

So after looking around for something that would fit my budget (new boat) with no luck I decided to stop in at the dealer near me ( Norco Ca)to see if this whole thing was even within reach.

So at California Correct Craft( gotta give props) the salesman pulled out this list of like 17 new left over Centurions and from what I gather from my research the prices were pretty much at cost or at least near it. His words were" we gotta get rid of them".

So this pricing bumped me up a notch in the boat I could afford...sweet!

So my question is this, what are some opinions on either the avalanche and/or the enzo? I like things about both and they have colors in both that I like. Also what options are important and not so important? They are hooking me up on option pricing also but I do not want to buy what I dont need nor do I want to come up short.

Thanks in advance for your replys

What size Enzo? Do you plan on surfing? If you like surfing, get Sideswipe and maybe the Switchblade. I can offer more depending on what you really want to use the boat for.

If surfing is your main drive, go Enzo 230. If you board and surf, Avalanche.

Enzo 216 is different than both and I wouldn't consider. my .02 cents

Not sure I'd get an Enzo with switchblade for surfing. If I just surfed, I'd remove my blade. It's a $4k option that you can pass on. Sideswipe is loud and expensive as I'd go FAE aftermarket and save a grand.

I had a 05 Avalanche and now have an 07 Enzo 230. The Avalanche wake is more vertical and more sensitive to side to side balance. The Enzo has a longer transition (still has a solid lip) and is much less sensitive to side to side balance. I think the surf wake is equal on the 2 boats. The Enzo needs (can handle) more ballast to maximize. If I was buying again I would get the Enzo.

After being in one I would not dismiss the 216/220 so quickly.

thanks everyone for your replys.

I have just ventured into wakesurfing so right now wakeboarding is my primary focus. I think Ill stay away from sideswipe. I actually had a chance to ride in a boat that had it and I found it to be quite noisey but what do I know?

So I will be heading back to california correct craft tommorrow to hopefully pick out a boat. Im leaning towards the 23 enzo (wife likes the bow) gotta keep her happy.

Ill let you guys know.

Hey Sean, I guess the moderator Nazi's didn't like me mentioning the pricing of our remaining 2007 Centurions. I won't be in tomorrow, but I'm sure Pete or BIll will help you find the right boat to keep you and your wife happy. Tim
P.S. The Enzo 216 does have a little different bottom...but it works well as an all around wake/surf/skate boat when loaded right for what you are doing on any given day.

avalanche for multi-use (surfing, wakeboarding, and wakeskating). I agree put a FAE on instead of side swipe, you will save alot of money. Get the Enzo if you are strictly surfing, but it still a great wakeboard boat also. Avalanche should be lower in price also.

Avalanche is an awesome wakeboard and surf boat. One of the best wakes I have ridden.
