Quick question...I need to increase my hole size to 1 3/8" to accomodate my new flush mount fuel vents. Problem is I don't know if I can use a hole saw since there's already a hole...no guide...afraid saw will skip and chip the gel coat. Anybody have an idea of what I can use to cut an accurate sized hole?

I had a simialr problem....I made a template and traced a circle around the existing hole then used a dremmel tool (drum sander. Be carful, b/c the dremmel will go thru the fiberglass /gelcoat like a hot knife thru butter.

I used a roto-zip, place masking tape over the gel to prevent scratching, mark the circle and be careful. Dremmel would work the same way.

I asked this same questions recently, here are the responses I got...

I ended up buying a bit for my Dremel that is used for cutting drywall, etc. It worked very well, but it is difficult to get it EXACTLY perfectly round, because you are essentially freehanding the cut, even though you have traced it out with a marker. It worked out great for me, because the stereo remote lip extended well past the edge of the hole.
