Seat Storage Lock

I have a '93 Closed Bow SN. I was wondering if anyone has added a lock to the passenger/observer seat? If so, can you give some details?

I live in an apt. complex, and would like to keep misc. items such as pumps, ropes, anchors, etc in the bow with a little piece of mind that someone would have to try hard to take those items.

Hey Pat! Whats up, man. Can't be to careful in Carbondale, eh? Ah the good ol' days, right? Anyway, did they have the Clamshell design then? I don't remember, but if they did, I am sure there are some who have added it. You might want to try Dan at Extreme and see if he could help you with ideas. Let me know if you need some contact info.

Actually I forgot to ask him. I just had Dan replace some stickers, and align the tracking fins last week, but I forgot to ask him about this. No, the entire seat lifts up above the windscreen. So I'm thinking I could add a lock to the underside of the dash, drill a hole through the dash to engage the seat.

P.S. Thats to bad about SM. That looks like it really hurt, and could have been a lot worse.
