how to get spray on powerslide?

I can powerslide but I don't get much spray. How do I make it look better?

Like Eric said edge harder.......You should be able to touch the water with your free hand.

This isn't the best example but you get the idea.

more on your toes..the more perpendicular the board is to the water the more spray you will get..also you need a lot of speed, the best place to do them is when the boat is turning..

Ronia,

Shaun Murray made me do them until I was too tired to hold on to the handle. The trick is really to whip your back foot around hard and get the handle behind you, kind of in the small of your back I find. Also, I usually tear out away from the boat on my heelside and when I feel my self coast and the slack in the line go away I take what amounts to a very agressive turn and lean away from the boat. I put my hand out usually to skim the water.

Watch out for rollers or ripples as the board will stutter and skip out from under you!

best advice i can give you is to whip around on a turn and as you're coming around shift your back foot out and get in on your toeside edge hard..you're back should be facing the boat, and you'll have a ton of spray..

in your pic, just shift that left leg back more and you'll have it!! good luck, let us know how it goes..

just bend the knee on the inside leg and really tweak out that outside leg.
