Ronia, Shaun Murray made me do them until I was too tired to hold on to the handle. The trick is really to whip your back foot around hard and get the handle behind you, kind of in the small of your back I find. Also, I usually tear out away from the boat on my heelside and when I feel my self coast and the slack in the line go away I take what amounts to a very agressive turn and lean away from the boat. I put my hand out usually to skim the water. Watch out for rollers or ripples as the board will stutter and skip out from under you! Eric
