I was diggin through a box of junk that I had hanging on my wall in Highschool and found this picture.

Gator was BLASTING in the 90s. Sorry its a crash photo, but I remeber seeing that in 95 being like 13 years old and thinking How in the Hell did he get that High Up. True that is the norm now, but we are talking pre-tall pylons and big wakes here. Nuts. Had to scan it and post it.

Andy,
I remember that pic. Didn't he get launched off a wave in the ocean for that shot?

I remember Gator's hoochie krypt from the LA Open back in the day. It had a sequence shot in Wakeboarding Mag and was in the video Switch. Also very huge!!!

Thanks for posting, I remember this as well. Another of my favorites was in Mayday when he blew out his knee. I thing he was doing a huge front to switch.

Ryan,

I am pretty sure that he was blasting off of Ocean waves, regardless it blew my mind in 95. Still blows my mind today!

Oh yeah Andy, not taking anything away from Gator just because it's off of waves. Still huge!

Russell, Gator's section in Mayday is also one of my favorites. I love the huge double up Pete & HS 5 with the sun in the background.

His short set from MayDay shows you how nuts he was. His and Murrays part are so good.

Squid,
I wasn't at the LA Open, that was my older brother Reid. He was the one who first told me about the Hoochie Krypt.

I would love to see the pic though ) - Post it up or email it to me if you can. Thanks
