Its the exact same shape of the One board, just a different core. My dealer told me its a bit lighter than the normal One board but the board is designed to not flex at all, including the cut in, the snap off the wake, and the landing. Its also got some led's on it

I'm riding it.. I dig it... It is so light. When you are doing big spins you don't have the swing weight of a normal board.. Arson, I would take a set on it. You'll feel what I'm what I walking about...

I think it is interesting how some boards are getting "flexier" while others are getting stiffer...?
Slingshot on one end and dark core on the other.
The CWB marius was made more rigged too for 2008

....verrrry interesting....

You are comparing two things that are completely different. They are both trying to accomplish the same thing, harness as much of the wakes energy as possible.

It's not so much about flex as it is about rebound (the ability to return to its original position). Slingshot rebounds by actively flexing and has a high rebound that might give you a little boost off the wake. The Dark core (Ronix) and Platinum core (CWB) are more about not allowing the board to flex so that the rebound is stronger. Its the fact that the board doesn't give thus creating a stiff pop off the top.

I guess it's interesting. More like its fascinating to see the different ways to accomplish the same goal. It's all about hydrodynamics and the interaction of fiberglass against the the physical properties of H2O. And its abilities to assist in shredding of the gnar, and thus scoring chicks.
