I was wondering what must people use to stitch with in Photoshop?? I Have some experience with the software but I have never made any sequence shots before, So I was wondering what tools in Photoshop people use??? For example, Do people use the Megnetic marquee tool, Clone Stamp, or Magic Wand??? Do you use a combination of all of these?? Let me know what you guys think works the cleanest and best way to do it, Thanks

which version of PS are you using? It all depends on the background. Sometimes the wand selection tool works great, other times it cuts out big portions. Ditto on the extraction filter. In the end it usually takes some decent work to get something that doesn't look like a 7th grader did it.

Speaking of 7th grader level work, here is one of big fat me...it's not a wake shot but it still air oriented

Bakes is a wizard with PS so hopefully he'll explain it.

I prefer one click and pray stitching.

The instructions from WCW are pretty much the routine. For me, sequences are basically a multi-layer copy and paste session in CS3 (CS2 is also excellent). Then after you paste and align you start eliminating the background as needed from the pasted shots.

Something I just thought of and will try tonight. What if you gave photomerge a little help? Instead of taking a bunch of pics and then asking photomerge to do everything, what would happen if you eliminated the the majority of parts you were going to erase anyways (leaving enough detail for photomerge to figure out where it belongs)? I will try it tonight

For sequences that might be the ticket, on full auto it tries to align all the individual rider shots into one rider.
