A while back I saw a thread on here where someone had a kit that you could install on your cover that added a strap that attached to the tower and held the cover up instead of having to use poles underneath to keep the rain out. Does anyone know where I can find this product? I just got a new cover and would like to add this to it since the poles are kind of a pain in the azz.

I tried searching and couldn't find anything...

No prob man. Read the thread though. Clibka said he towed with his and it tore his cover. Some say reinforce the hole by sewing it, others say just tow with the poles.

Thanks! I never tow with the poles in place and I would definitely disconnect before towing.

I had the local canvas shop sew an extra strap on my cover for $25. Does the exact same thing as the hangtyte. The strap is reinforced and I still don't tow with it on.

I would suggest these instead . . . http://www.tarpclipstore.com/ Just run some rope thru hole in the clip to tower. Just grab some of the fabric in the jaws. I hang these inside my boat lift and hang my carpet to dry.

My cover was made to go over the tower. Easy install and no ponding on my boat but you cannot trailer with that setup.

I've got the Hangtyte and it is probably the best money I've spent on the boat. I tow with it all the time and haven't had any problems.
