Anybody ride with a helmet? Just had my second concussion wakeboarding. So starting to think about purchasing a helmet, Ive heard some say it helps and others say it wont.

I use s special custom helmet made of tinfoil. it looks like a pyramid only more pointy and it has secret squiggle writing on it.

I find it really helps with the voices.

I ride with a helmet. Two years ago I had a subdural hematoma from wakeboarding. Some falls I think it helps and others I don't. Definitely doesn't help backslaps.

We have too many of these threads. Let's just link to the previous ones, since the same arguments come up every time.

Helmets don't prevent concussions.

Except when they do.

it is true however that nothing is 100% certain. i blew a knee wearing my CTi in summer 2010. i still wear it but it's just for support. that knee could blow out again regardless of the brace, with enough force

by all means, wear it. who cares what others think. better safe than sorry.
