I noticed a small tear in my carpet yesterday and realized i might need to redo the carpet (its the original from '90). I might either just replace the flat floor skin (sides are still in great condition) or thought about possibly putting on some sort of spray on liner. any opinions or pics? has anyone every done this? i'm sure it'd be like having a solid fiberglass flooring.

I thought about it once the only problem would be how hot that stuff gets you definitely wouldn't want black

my buddy just got his truck linex'd and i asked that question, especially for his dogs. they told him that it's heat resistant. but i'd get a white or gray color added.

Unless you are able to smooth out the consistency of the LineX then people will scuff thier toes up rather often on the rough surface, especially after a few beers when they get lazy feet.

Re-Carpet would be my opinion.

i think i'll re-carpet. $60-80 for carpet + carpet glue is definitely cheaper than professional liner.

You could put in gator grip but that will be very expensive but will hold up very well. Personally i would stick with the carpet.
