World Ski Lines rope and handle??

Has anyone seen or used one of these. I got one off Ebay. They said it's Spectra, but how can I tell whether it is or not? This is my first rope and have nothing to compare it to.....

For $100 I'll sell you Fly High - brand name, good equipment, no questionable stuff. Your choice - but I'll be almost everyone on this board recommends a brand name. The worst decision is to buy it twice.

Thanks for the offer Karl. I already bought this though and was wondering how I could tell the difference or if anyone is using this particular rope and handle.

never heard about or seen one of those... I wouldn't buy anything that has ski written on it to wakeboard... that's one thing for sure... how much did you pay for it??

hold the rope in your fingers with your hands about 1 inch apart. Push your fingers together and the rope should "open up". When you release the rope, if it stays open, its specta. If it springs back into place, its not specta and will stretch.

Good deal. I just bought one a week ago hoping at that price I was getting a good deal and not ripped off.

Cool. Yeah, it's wetsuit weather here in VA, but we have jetski races to go to, so I won't be boarding for a few weeks. By then it will be alot warmer. :-)
