Could the Shanes get any uglier for 2007... yes..

so I thought the 2006 shanes bindings were ugly.... that would be why I waited for Limited edtion... but now that I just saw the picture of the 2007.... I cant believe there even worse!! Who is the guy riding them??

well i hope they are just preproduction r+d models...

i would say thought that if they made the rubber bottom black and kep the black/white mix on top i would like them...

yeah but it almost looks like thats a brown on top... and I heard from a rep those were shanes.... he didnt say pre produciton or R&D or no but I sure hope so!!

Joe Schmo here took a magic marker to his 06's.

Anyway you slice it, they are ugly and gay. They could have beer flowing from them 24/7, instantly make you do a method grab, and spin a back 5 every time you hit the wake....and they would still be rediclous loking. Oh, and Shane's a brat.

THAT IS NOT AN 2007 SHANE BINDING!!!

Look at the picture. The bottom sole, laces, pro plate, and inner liner are from regular 2006 Shane bindings.

The rest of the binding is from the 2006 Limited Edition Shane bindings.

Why is this guy wearing bindings with mixed parts like that??? i don't know. besides the fact that it is ugly. maybe he affiliated with LF and wanted a custom order. Or maybe LF ran out of materials so they combined the looks. But that is not an 2007 binding.

Am I the only one that sees this???}}

those are not 06 shanes mixed with limited.. the limited is a much shinier material and it is not solid black, but argyle style print, plus the 6d liner is black on the limiteds, anyways im 99% positive he just painted the 06 shane black

zack, i said the inner liner was white, from the regular shanes.

it may be magic marker, but regardless, it is not a 2007 binding!!!

also zack, if you look closely these shanes are more than black paint, there is an "argyle style print", just like you said the limited editions have...

You cant get the limited Shanes with the Gum bottom and you cant switch out the top part since the top part of the boot and the foot bed are glued and stiched together, so I would say they are a custom pair of Shanes or a blem pair of Shanes

I just heard that people at OWC have taken the 2006 shanes and colored them ni with sharpie marker which FI I had to imagine would look a lot like that..... I guess I had bad sources.. still ugly though

I may be the only one, but I don't think the 06 shanes are as bad looking as you make them out to be. Besides that, the liquid liner makes them stupidly comfortable...I think i'm gonna buy a pair to wear to school ;) also, charlie is right.
