Boat Driving Classes?

Just wanted to see if anybody knew of a place to get some boat driving classes in the Twin Cities area? My wife wants to learn how to drive, and we are just not good for teaching each other these types of things (or playing intramural sports...).
Couldnt find much online.

i know boated.com will give you most of the basics as far as laws in your state, what buoys mean, general safety and first aid info. ive never heard anything about an actual wakeboat driving class anywhere though.

Give 10kwakes a call. They give wakeboard lessons on your boat so I'm guessing you could work something out about wakeboat lessons.

Now why couldn't this have been around 10 years ago when i was trying to teach my wife to pull into the dock. That may have saved my x-star from having to go the shop to get the hole in the rear corner repaired. LOL

On a better note she is now one of the best drivers I know. She lays down one of the sweetest double ups, loads, unloads, docks, can put on and off the lift, and i think she is smoking hot doing it.

Our group has found that none of us are good at teaching our own wives/husbands much of anything, driving, riding, etc. So we have each other do it. Meaning I teach my buddies' wife, he teaches mine. Seems to work out a lot better.

I had my wife give me a few pulls yesterday. All she managed to do is give me a couple of stiff arms. I gotta find someone to teach her too.

Bill, I think that we may have to go that route. She really doesnt have any boating experience at this point. We ride with a girl that has no problem pulling riders, I think I may have her do a girls night and get the two of them to go out for an hour or two and then we met up with them after.

As for getting 10wakes I never thought of that. I am sure we can get one of the guys over there to do a private for her. Just giving her the "professional" touch/expertise would be nice. Having some that does this for a living makes it easier to listen to without second guessing (like she constantly does with me).
