Hey all,

Just need an opinion. Does anyone have experience with a MC X-10. I have just put in an offer to purchase a 2005 x-10 at a rock bottom price of $97500-00. Long story as to why I got it so cheap.(TIC)

I would like an opinion on the boat and wake before I sign.

Is that South African Rand? If so, that translates to $15,900 US dollars?

I really like our '02 X10, but will be looking for a X2 in the future. I like the wake better on the X2 for wakeboarding.

Ramp-style wake vs. a peak-style wake. What is your preference? You might pickup a little more pop from an X-2 wake but you will land farther away from your takeoff point with an X-10.

Mmm difficult to say which wake I prefer, I have only ridden behind a Prostar 205 d/drive which is the same hull as the current X-2 hull. I am testing it over the weekend so maybe it will become more apparent then.

As for the price , yip South African rands , all
R585 000-00 of them.At the current exchange of R6/$1 leaves you with a whopping
$97500 for the boat...believe me it burns my butt!!

I have a 2004 x-10, why don't i pay you 17,000 and you can ship it to me. if its really that price you shouldnt waste time asking about the boat but why it's so cheap especially over there

Kaydee...that clarifies things. I thought you were saying it was R97500 ...the equivalent of $16,000 US dollars. You are actually stating it's R585,000...the equivalent of $97500 USD. WOW!

If you have the opportunity to test both (X10 and X2), do so. The X10 wake is wide and rampy. The X2 wake more narrow with better pop. That's not to say you can't do most (or all) the tricks behind both boats, but with the X10 you have to bring more pepper into the wake.

I have an X10 and really enjoy it, but the more I board the more I find myself enjoying wakes with the characteristics of the X2 or SAN.
