I think I will have to make it out there this year. I will need dates well in advance to get the time off.

I'll be there!

We'll have some info to Dave soon to post up. Walt has the dates right. Same place. More bar space. Bikini models were added. Hyperlite is going for the same team. CWB is trying to bring in their best guys. And this year, Malibu is calling in their big guns! Can't say any names yet, but it's going to get interesting. This will be the first time that a boat company flies in riders. Very exciting! More very soon.

The after party is exclusive to Spring Riders, no general public. We've got a 400 capacity banquet room with two bars, slumpin DJ. Free admissions for hotel guests. Otherwise they will charge you a cover.

Rooms: 559-692-8836

Mothers day Weekend?
Old     (allen)      Join Date: Apr 2005       01-11-2010, 9:06 AM Reply
Doug Yes its Mothers day Weekend. It was Mothers day weekend last year as well. I think What you might find if you talk to the people that went last year is that the resort is VERY family oriented. There is a day spa for the Moms (Gift Idea) great restaurants, very nice swimming pool and the lake itself is beautiful. I know people that have already booked because it is on Mothers day weekend and they had a great time last year.
You will not be disappointed!!!!

Just make sure to bring your camera PLEASE!!! Shots of wakeboarding are acceptable, but drunk girls in bikinis are preferred, or drunk girls out of bikinis. That's cool too lol

Two adjoining chalets booked!

Is it May yet?

Thanks to CIE for all their hard work putting this together.

Only 2 adults per room and $20 for each additional adult per room....yeah right!

I think we're all getting chalets again (the little cabins in the woods). The hotel rooms are more expensive. The hotel is dope though. It would be nice to be closer to the action.

Scared..really..Come on Riley..If we can make it game on brotha!! haha...If its in the budget we will be there. Peeps need to start supportin their local shop rather then savin 10 bucks on the internet. Its guna suck when we have no more core shops supporting the growth of our sport...Just sayin..

Everyone needs to go to Shon's place next weekend for his slider jam.

Off-Axis Board Shop in Auburn.

Buy lots of snow and wake gear. We need to get him to Spring Ride.

Nice, Kevin. Haven't seen you in a while!

Stay at the hotel. Way more fun. And they will give you the wrist bands for admission to the after party.

you guys are staying at the hotel or in a chalet?
Old     (jarrod)      Join Date: May 2003       01-18-2010, 6:50 AM Reply
Chalets I believe
Old     (guido)      Join Date: Jul 2002       01-18-2010, 12:18 PM Reply
Yup, stay at the Hotel, or in one of their Chalet's and you get guaranteed admittance to the after party. It also eliminates the cover charge.

IMO, the Chalets are where it's at. Get a couple of your friends, pick up a chalet and your set. You've got a kitchen and lot's of space.
Old     (steezyshots)      Join Date: Feb 2008       01-18-2010, 12:53 PM Reply
I think I got hotel, but it sounds like the chalets are the way to go.

What's the run down on both?
Old     (jarrod)      Join Date: May 2003       01-18-2010, 2:46 PM Reply
Hotel is on the water, front and center, more convenient. Chalets are like private little cabins scattered throughout the woods.
Old     (mendo247)      Join Date: Mar 2005       01-18-2010, 7:10 PM Reply
Did this venue attract many from the "non-wake" crowd as previous years at Tulloch? Not that I care, just seemed like there were quite a few people that were there to just party and didnt give a rats ass about the event it self.
Old     (westsidarider)      Join Date: Feb 2003       01-18-2010, 11:39 PM Reply
From what I remember there were quite a few locals that showed up to enjoy the festivities last year. However, they were nothing like the local folk from Tulloch. Definitely better company for sure. They were actually very excited that an event like this was held at their lake.
Old     (jarrod)      Join Date: May 2003       01-19-2010, 7:56 AM Reply
Richard. Definitely not. The locals that did come were mountain people. Laid back. Cool.
Old     (nsolis220)      Join Date: May 2007       01-19-2010, 11:50 AM Reply
we were at the very nice upscale restuarnt there and older locals probally mid 50's to 60's were talking to us about it and how it was so cool it was to watch and how excited they were

side note the folks at the bar were pumped to they were tripping about how they made so much money off of tips from the bar they were super stoked for sure.
Old     (eternalshadow)      Join Date: Nov 2001       01-19-2010, 12:05 PM Reply
What's the closest airport and all that stuff again?

I missed last year because of budget restraints. Nothings for sure yet this year but if I can I'd like to bring the "Oh Canada" vibe back to Spring Ride again, it would be nice to see everyone again and hit the water a few weeks before the season officially starts up here!

Hows the dock setup? We will be staying across the lake. Do they fill up? Is there room to anchor up if the docks are full?
Old     (mendo247)      Join Date: Mar 2005       02-03-2010, 10:46 AM Reply
The dock situation is still TBD. Either way, there will be plenty of space.

How come you're not staying at the resort....just curious
Old     (jarrod)      Join Date: May 2003       02-03-2010, 10:56 AM Reply
Were headed up on Tues or Wed and will be staying in some cabins across the lake. Were wanting to be able to cook all our own meals rather than eating in resturants so the cabins will work good. We get a killer price on the cabins also so it was hard to pass up. Probably gonna make for some late night trips across the lake lol
Old     (mendo247)      Join Date: Mar 2005       02-03-2010, 11:18 AM Reply
Right on, man. Just a FYI for those that have the same strategy: The Chalets have full kitchens. Staying at the resort also guarantees you a spot in the afterparties. They'll give you a bracelet with your room reservation.

It's nice to be able to stumble back to your room late at night, rather than have to navigate the lake.
Old     (guido)      Join Date: Jul 2002       02-03-2010, 12:27 PM Reply
Or you could do what brodie does and just pass out naked wherever!
