I have a new vlx. When I go out I am mostly with my wife and small kids, so I typically don't have lots of bodies to move around. My vlx has the MLS system, but no bow ballast. I am regular foot forward. I currently surf on a landlock 5'11". Where should I put the weight and how much. I have a launchpad 540lb bag. Where should I put it and how much more do I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will post pics later. Don't have any yet.

hey abe do a serch and you will find lots of info. Just search by hull type v25wake or diamond hull. with what you have run center full surf side full and fill your bag on top of the surf side tank in the rear locker. put the wedge around 8 o`clock and start from there. personaly I have to say that when you get hooked ( and you will) you will need more weight about 1500#`s more.
