What steps should I take for Trailers Maintenance. I am going to be going down to Kentucky at the end of the month and want to make sure everything is running right.

It is a single axel trailer with no brakes.

check tires, (air pressure, dry rotting, and wear) leaf springs, grease the bearings, (if possible) check lights for proper function, and check the latch, thats about all you really can do.

torque the lug nuts and maybe invest in a (used) spare! nothing worse than being shouldered without a spare.....
