I know the main difference is in the amount of room for people and more storage. I am wondering about the wake though. How does a loaded down VLX wake compare to a loaded down LSV. I rode behind an LSV with the quad MLS aand power wedge and thought the wake was really nice but I have never ridden behind the newer style VLX. Just curious

The VLX is bigger and better with stock ballast. A weighted VLX is pro level and all you would ever need. The LSV wake is not as good stock. Its like the VLX with almost no ballast. But... there is no comparison to a 23 LSV with two tons of weight and the 8.1 to push it. It's incredible!!! That said- enjoy putting gas in it.

I have a 2007 LSV and eveyone loves the room and wake. Yes the VLX is some better, but after 2-3 warm up jumps , my friends are going HUGE behind both boats. We run stock ballast , power wedge on 5 , with 3 people . Here is a pic of my wife going big !!
