The season is coming to an end..yukk...Anyone have any good suggestions on what to do in the winter to keep up on what you learned during the summer. This was my first year boarding and I feel like Im going to forget everything I learned by the time I can finally get back out on the water. Thanks for any input.

Take trips to places where you can ride.

Lynn,

Why can't you ride with a dry suit, we do out here in the Delta. Another suggestion is to pick up snowboarding..not sure where you live but that will keep you refined for wakin!

well i'd still try to find a place to ride once a month, but a trampoline is ok to i guess. Also snowboard, and just about any other sport where your on a board will probably help to some degree.

Suggestion: move to Florida. No off season! :-) No mountains though, and that sucks.

..lol...it would be great if I could ride during the winter with a dry suit,, unfortunately the river and the resevoirs freeze over. I live in southeastern Idaho....Ive never tried snowboarding. Sounds like it might be similar to wakeboarding from everybodys input...it just seems it hurts more when you fall...lol...thanks for all the input everyone....

Lynn, does hurt a little more the first few times, but an excellent way to hone your wakin skills. You could always come to the Delta for a weekend or two!

If I were you I'd go to The Wakeboard Camp for a week. You can learn a lot in a week from professionals.
