Went by on Friday night. We ran into Parks, Byerly, Ennen, Lyman and some of the other pros. Kinda cool talking with Parks even though it was brief. The coolest gear imo was the slingshot gear. The reps now their stuff. I'm looking forward to demoing their boards now that you can put standard bindings on them.

seeing some of the boat show prices on the tiges and malibus has me curious, what are some of the prices on Nautiques, Supras, MB's, MC's, etc?

The new nautique tower in interesting. Especially with the bimini above it. I wonder how well that works.

The new nautique dash is unique. I am not sure I like that styling one bit.

1. the tige z1 reminds me of the cadillac xlr
2. nautique looks sick, but the dash looks kind of "block-ish"
3. i say "no thanks" to the malibu corvette (not a fan of vettes to begin with), but the rest of their lines look sick, heard good things about the lsv
4. the wrap on the mc looks wild, but sick!
5. supreme logo looks a bit generic...i need to introduce them to my graphics guy (god)
6. the supra looks sicks, sans the tribal stuff

Oh Joe... don't be like that. There is a difference between bashing with no proof or knowledge of something. And then there is constructive criticism or asking for clarifcation as to a particular issue.

I am like that with all boat brands. I praise when I like something... and something I don't like... I question...

But I do NOT come on here to bash.

Right Kyle. And Bill didn't have sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky. It's all semantics, right?

That's where they were. I'm going back again this weekend to see the rest of the boats. I always spend more time gossiping at the show than actually checking things out.

Hey cliff those slingshot boards are pretty sweet huh, I need to try one of those out. It would be nice to ride with something that light on the feet.

Did anyone go visit wet sounds? Dam they were deep, it took me a solid 20 30 minutes to find them, they were on the upper level surrounded by everything that was the complete opposite of what they are

I was lame I didn't even venture upstairs. I did the old beave and leave at the show, got in and got out.

Yeah same, I went to MC, talked to Darren about some stuff, then went to wet sounds, and peaced, I absolutely hate boat shows, all the yacht guys, and goof yacht accessories, you might no what I mean. Those guys with 3 million dollar yachts and tell you its an amazing deal 20 times. Haha funny story, so my younger bros were looking at meridian worth 3 mill, pops and i went in after them and we went down stairs and at the bottom of the stairs right ahead was a closet, I opened the door looked in, and shut it. But it didnt shut, I was determined to shut it, I kinda started to juggle it, in the process of jiggling, 2 screws flew, and the knob somehow magically came off... doh! my dad looks at me and goes "lets get the hell outta hrere". 3 mill boat my a$$ my shirt snagged on at-least 3 nails sticking out on wall corners/endings, and they had like 12 year olds escorting people.

I know the boat your talking about I saw it to. My favorite part is the guy that's standing in the $10K bayliner with his chest all puffed out thinking he's a bada$$ about to pull the trigger on this sweet ride, and gives you the look like "WHAT keep walking brokea$$". Kills me I was cracking up, happened a couple of times there over at the bayliner/maxum spread.

Haha nu bu I know the kinda guys you are talking about, they give you this look like they are big and powerful buying a SWEET bayliner, and they've got their stunner shades on, indoors, in the wintertime... haha
Old     (liveoz)      Join Date: May 2002       01-28-2008, 7:02 PM Reply
Twitch,

I have no desire to ever buy a $3 million yatch. Even if I could ever afford one. However I will stick up for Meridian and the others. Those boats at the show are usually mockups, they put the interior in for the show only. After the show they yank everything out so that it can be constructed to the buyer's preference. There is minimal wiring and everything else to make it look good at the show. Trust me, the quality of those boats is extremely high.

Yeah i see, But take one of the Sundance boats, It was the most southern one facing the exits/entrance for example, you cannot dock that boat, its impossible from the inside, and you cant dock it from the Upper deck, the overhang is too long and you cant see the bow, stupid design?? I think so. Thats just me though.

Twin screw, with bow thruster. You can turn those boats on a dime.

Those comp boats are very expensive. The cash rewards thing for any manufacturer is a bunch of bull. Do a little research on that.

Is it really Matt? I use to work for a dealer who used cash rewards as a promotion. From what I hear the dealerships that have been in the program long enough to have customers that have tried to get their reward have gotten it. That is if they do it right. There are a few things you have to do but if you are too lazy to do a couple things for $10k than you don't have to take the cash rewards.

Another thing. I think if you look at the dealership that I worked at and compare their prices for a mastercraft to other dealers around the country they are competetive. So what do you have to lose.

seriously brett there is a thread about 30 pages long on the tmc that is full of people that did not get there refund. Come on man, everybody knows they will find a loophole to keep their money. How many places turn a profit giving away money?

not hatin man just want people to be aware of the truth. If it was legit than the manufacturer would just knock 10k of the sticker wouldn't they?

The Vette Malibu would be a pretty sick ride if not for flying and cruising, just knowing you can afford to have something so ridiculous.

The wrapped X2 is pretty rad too.

It is a matter of time before an overseas manufacturer starts building boats.
Then, my friends, we will see panic in the streets.

Cliff, I no what thrusters can do, even if you have them, you cant dock that boat, you cant see the dock from the sky deck, or the inside, there was a guy that was 6'6" talking to me saying he was on his tippy toes and couldnt see.

Since this thread has gone way off topic I think I'll contribute by sharing the only boat I would be willing to spend 25 millon for with the triple gas turbine upgrade (if I was a multi billionaire).
