Has anybody taken their IPOD wakeboarding yet?

All the time. Hooks up to the same mini jack as my Sirrius. Do playlist for your set, 5 days worth of music.

Check out www.H2Oaudio.com and look for their new ad in Alliance Magazine. Very cool water housing for your IPod.

ipods are the best we have never had ours skip and you have thousands of songs in a tiny little thing instead of tons of cds that skip. i use a cord that plugs into the av jacks in the back of the stereo

Use mine all the time in my Nautique, the AV jacks are in the glove box with the stereo head unit. Works insane!

I mean take it into the water with you!

why do you need to take it into the water when the tower speakers can blare music for everyone to hear?- plus it doesn't float unless waterproof casings float it and if it fell off when you crash you'd lose out on a few hundred.

take mine out all the time. i have an iPod Photo and I have a cable that hooks into the rca jacks and i plug it into the ipod. i have one of the rubber jackets to protect it and i velcro it right by the dash. works out really well.

I've been working with H2O Audio and their upcoming ad is featuring Ricky Gonzeles. He rides with one all the time. The housing is sick and with arm band and special head phones it's a whole new experience on the water!

I saw ricky riding at san v last Sunday. He was wearing it. It looked pretty tight.

Yeah Ricky was wearing at the Canyon Tournament. I don't know if it was the iPod but something made him boost the biggest damn batwing off the double up ever!

I rode all weekend with my new H20 Audio mini iPod and swimbelt setup. It is totally sick! I hit my first slider/jump riding with it (ski jump which was just installed at our riding spot). I was totally stoked with it!

How does it feel if you take a hard fall on your ear? I would think it increases the chance of screwing up the eardrumb

Actually, I would think it would protect your eardrum, since it almost fills the end of your ear.

word, i think it would protect it more... not increase the chance of bursting the eardrum.

Yup, it protects the eardrum, just like earplugs do. Also, I wear a helmet with the set-up so it keeps the headphones snug and secure. I use the swimbelt which puts the ipod on your waist right in the small of your back, the wire goes up my back and then to the headphones. The ipod and the wire is under my vest, so you can't really tell I'm packing heat!
