bout to buy an iMAC, but recently heard people unable to upload video from their pani ag-dvc30.

I am going to bring my camera into the apple store to see if they will try it first.

Any help would be appreciated.

Should work fine using the firewire ports on both the cam and the iMac. iMovie should work for starters to get your video off the cam and do some basic editing. If it's one of the original funny colored imacs check and make sure it has a firewire port though, not all of them did.

That is the set up I have and it works fine. My imac is an older g5 but I didn't have any trouble with it loading into final cut pro
