I too would like to see 2400 pounds in the back of an X2/X1. That boat won't take what you are suggesting.

Chuck,I'm all over it.

Jrod, and another 3000lbs in the bow.I used to put that much weight in my boat + stock ballast.

It's to the point that I mooch so much that I don't really have top wakes. If I were to buy a boat, wake would be one the last things to consider after I narrowed down my search. But when really thinking about it I can't narrow it to 3...
Here are my top wakes in no particular order.
205V hull (X1/2/Star)
V-Ride
SAN 210 (even though I haven't ridden one, I can't leave it out)
Epic 23 V (I want another shot behind it in fresh water though)
Supra SSV
Buzz's '05 VLX
Supra 24V

All of those wakes I feel very very comfortable with, and would be extremely happy if I owned the boat.

Ed....you put 5400 pounds over stock in your X2?
That's 6300 pounds. Are you sure you are calculating that right?

I would have had to see it to believe it. I almost sunk mine at close to an estimated 4000 pounds (people included). That was with only 1100-1200 in the nose.

jrod, my last boat the little centurion took 2400.....plus people, with very little boat to sink.

Looked kinda like this....

Granted, thats the whole boat......I dont think any boat could take much more than a g up in the nose, but i bet the x2 could take 2g in the back, 600 in the nose, and another g plus in the middle.

The best x2 wake Ive ridden used the stock ballast with the bigger upgraded fly high sacks, 400 lead in the nose, a 600 pound sac in the walkway to the open bow, and another 600 pound sac laying in front of the rear seat.

The most weight I had in my boat was.......
22 pop-bags in the bow.
600lbs fat sac in the walkway.
7 pop-bags in each locker(14 total) and 7 in the cock-pit.
4 people and all their gear
Almost forgot...2-5 gallon gas cans in the back lockers.

Truthfully I though it could take few more people but that was it.

Pop-bags are 38lbs to 40lbs so you do the math.

"2g in the back, 600 in the nose" = a rolled over, washed out wake...unless you ride shorter than 80 feet.

Jrod, I mean dead in the nose......more in the walkway.
