Possibly getting into a Supra SSV but want to know how the wake is. Rampy, steep, big, small, etc??? Thanks.

Pretty rampy. Long, nice transitions. Can get big with oversided bags plumbed to the factory ballast system. See this as an example.

I have an SSV and my wake is steep. The nice thing about the wakeplate is that you can adjust your wake from steep to rampy with a push of a button, but when you go to a more rampy wake you also lose some of its size, But there is still a quality wake there.
Great boat though. LOts of storage and beefy as hell, deep v-hull cuts through the rough stuff.

I would call it steeper than rampy. Did that make any sense? Although not as steep as the wake produced by my SAN, I would say it is steeper than every other boat I have ridden behind (somewhere around 15 WB boats). I'm comparing boats with factory ballast or up to 1000' pounds. I know some boats tend to remain rampy no matter how much weight is added, and other's tend to get steeper or change in some other way (eg. a Malibu with a wedge). The SSV's wake is becoming my favorite because it suits my style of riding. Blah, blah, blah.

Bottom line; drive, ride in, and most importantly ride behind a $h!# load of boats before you commit to buying one.

I have been riding behind a VLX, and most of my friends that have boats are also VLX's. I am down with the wake, rampy and huge, but not steep like the SAN; which I can't stand. I am possibly getting a smoking deal on one and just want as much feedback as I can get. I was really pleased with the boat at the LA boat show. Tons of cool ass features, plus the aspect of not everyone having one is a bonus for me.

ive ridden on all those boats mentioned and the SSV is a firm rampy wake with a nice little rail on the lip that gives it a little extra POP..most people would call it Rampy compared to a VLX with Wedge,X2,and SAN

Its a very nice wake but not really steep...

its best with the Gravity games bags which are and upgrade to 2600lbs of ballast..it ok with stock bags and people but really best with the big GG bags...

I LOVE my Supra wake and the boat overall. Very very happy with it. Will write more about it later at work and got to run. Brandon, if you are in this area I would be more than happy to take you behind our boat.

Just where are you up north Kimmy?? If we could coordinate something I am interested. I would love to get behind an SSV. www.westsidewakeboard.com has my number and email. Thanks.

Brandon,

Who was the dealer at the LA boat show? Was it Island Marine? If so I have been very pleased with them and the service I have gotten on my Moomba Mobius. The SSV is my favortie boat but since I am in Canyon Lake it's to big since they are now measuring before you can register.

Yeah that was the dealer at the show, but its not the dealer that I would be going through. I think that I could get used to the wake, with the added weight that I would throw in it.
