FINALLY! Got out on the lake yesterday (the main lake was showing at 42º still but the top layer of the inner bay was showing as 50º...at least on the top layer!)

We had planned to ride the local dealer's new 2013 Malibu MKZ with Surfgate but they didn't have sacks for either compartment in the rear, plus the Power Wedge malfunctioned. Luckily we had a boss of a backup boat, my Supreme V226. So we loaded her up, dipped her in the lake and suited up!

The new Keenan Flegel Surf is SICK! Loved the speed, the longer rail and control I had with it. It was a little tougher riding in booties so we're headed back out today for more testing (gonna be mid 70s and we'll take it). The Malibu will be ready to go, plus my buddy is dropping his Tige RZ2 in the water...but I'll take my wave over either of those boats any day!

I worked at my house on lake Bomoseen yesterday. Wanted to take the boat out, so I stepped in the lake..... Brr! I will wait another week. Weather is supposed to be excellent this week, so I may hit the VT waters next weekend.

I am guessing you are on Champlain? Great vid!
