I found the only way I can surf is to be doing never ending circles depending on the person's stance. My boat is a 2000 MB Sport DD. I usually have to people sitting on the very back of the boat, 2 full barrels of water, and two steal plates, my ballast full, and maybe another person sitting on the dog house totaling about 1000lbs. Now the wake is fine for me to ride even though I am 6' 220lbs, the pocket is a bit smaller but I'm doin alright. The only way I can get a good wall to ride is doing a farely tight turn to either the left or right. Do any of you have the same problem?

It sounds like you do not have enough weight. You need 500-700# in the rear. 350-700# on the side you wish to surf on. Then 150-500# up front. I have a 2001 Tige D.D. 21ft. We have about 1700#, Our old Nautique 19 foot we had about. 1400#. Just try out a few different placements and soon you will dial you wake in.

from what i was told that more weight in the back gives u a bigger wake and more weight in the front will give u a longer pocket. something 2 try out>
