I need help, i have never been behind a moomba before. WHat kind of wake do they through, how abotu the size with weight. I heard once they made a big hull change but what year was that.

medium to big with 1800lbs but soft and washy..not a pro caliber wake like other true wakeboard boats but it can do the job

bill,
could you compare it to another boat. I dotn have the money to get a pro caliber wake and beside i just started boarding like a year ago. I probably dont need a pro wake, do you think this wake is good enough to learn inverts and spins and stuff

yea i know a guy who can do raleys and stuff behind one..if you get your technique down it will definitly do the job..

really cant compare it to another boat but its a step up from an I/O for sure..

Here are a couple of pics of the wake on a 98 mobius. I am 6', and in the dish at 75 feet, 24 mph, the wake comes up a touch above my knees when I weight it with a 2/3 full fat seat in back, and a 2/3 full sack up front.
With no weight at all, the wake is 6" bigger than my buddies malibu sporster with the wedge down.
They have the Indmar motors, same as MC, Malibu, and the other big names, so getting up to speed is no problem.
In my first summer with it, I could do 360's, tantrums, and get enough pop to get my board WELL above the tower on it. This summer, I am working on raleys.
In all, it is a great boat, and it will be a few years before my skill will get beyond what this boat can give me.
