A jet wakeboard boat. Is this old news? Anyone know anything about how well the jet actually works. Jets were famous for being gas hogs way back when so I've got to think a jet wakeboard boat would set a record for gas consumption!

I know that on wakeboarder about three weeks ago, they were discussing yamaha and there so called wakeboard boad. The people who purchased them were unhappy with the wake. The boat was over three thousand pounds and they added fat sacs and they were still unhappy. Other reasons aswell. same argument with I/o's you can not make a wakeboard boat out of of Jet boat or and I/o. and if you think you have or can your just trying to keep yourself satisfied for what you have.

That looks like a glorified Bass boat.
I wonder if it has an optional gold flake paint package.

I think its pretty cool looking, but this is not designed to be a wakeboard boat.

The hull is aluminum, like Alumaweld or North River. Notice the solid aluminum windshield frame built as part of the hull. This is quality construction for running rivers enroute to your favorite fishing hole. The combo of aluminum and jet drive are obvious choices for rivers because of rocks. I have a friend who has a North River, the boat is a tank, and is about as much fun in whitewater as you can possibly have.

My guess is these boats were originally designed as fishing boats with an eye toward expanding their market.

That thing FreakN rocks! I would love to have one of those to play around in. And it looks very cool for an aluminum boat. There are many reasons why this wouldn't make for a good wake boat, but it kicks the crap out of any bass boat I've seen on the water. I can just see me plowing through some brush and rocks to get to that perfect fishN spot :-)

Then maybe catch a few wakeskate sets on our way back home with our "delicious BASS"

Looks like a cool river runner. Sticking a tower on it makes it better in my book. I'd love to take it off some sweet jumps. Notice the pic where the guy has 180'd a couple of feet from the pier, that's a jet for you. They don't make any claims about it being a wakeboard boat, like the sorry ass Yamaha. }

I found the link because the guy they hired to shoot people wakeboarding behind it was asking about which lens to use on one of the photography forums. So evidently they want to advertise it as a wakeboard boat as well. Perhaps that isn't their main market though.
