Alright, had the boat out on Friday and found a big leak in my rear bag. Yes, it is on the seam and I want to try and repair it before I have to find the money to buy a new bag.

Not sure the brand on these bags either, they were in the boat when I bought it. Looks like the seams are glued, then folded over. What suggestions do you have to repair this? Has anyone tried to repair a seam like this before? My initial thought, is to use rubber cement, let it full cure, then put a patch over it as well. What do you think?

Let me know, thanks!

I would get a vinyl pool patch kit. Thats what I didn't on my center bag in my boat and its held for over a year now.

I used a soldering iron and spoon to reseal mine. Take the iron, heat the seam as it starts to melt, smooth with spoon. Then rubber cement and patch for support. Works good if you have steady hands.
