I have been wakeboarding for about a month now, but I have been using a slalom rope and handle. I know that a wakeboarding rope doesn't strech as much and the wakeboarding handles are bigger, but will it make that much difference. I am starting to increase my jumps and going for w2w, will a stricly wakeboarding rope help a lot? Thanks

Yes, a non-stretch rope is way better. It helps you load the line with tension better. Get one and you will instantly tell a difference.

i'm sure its a good rope but it isn't the best when it comes to wakeboarding. Low stretch dosen't really mean that it hardly ever stretches. Yes non-stretch ropes are expensive but they do make all the difference in the world. You don't necessarily need a carbon fiber handle but if money isnt a problem and if it feels comfortable for you, i'd say go for it.

I would suggest these 'jacket' mainlines from Grizzly...hard to beat $50.

The limejacket rope will simply be 'lime' instead of blue. I bought this rope from Grizzly (I got the blue) and it has worked perfectly for me for 3 years. 0 complaints.
