I am about to pull the trigger on a new boat. My wife loves the interior layout and price of the 2013 V226. I know it surfs well, but for me and my usual crew, surfing is secondary. We wakeboard at least 2-3 times a week. Have any of you more advanced riders ridden behind this boat? How is the wakeboard wake? Will it compare with B52 23 when sacked out with the same weight? Garten, I know your response already

There's a bunch of Supreme dealers out there in Cali, one of them has to be close enough to you to drive to.Just go test drive one and decide for yourself.I'm sure one of them would be more than happy to give you a pull if they think they might get a sale out of it.

I didn't like the V226 wake at all and I really liked the MB wake. The 226 is crazy wide, foamy, and soft. We had it loaded with factory ballast, and about 13 people.. I rode the MB wake with factory ballast and it was really good. Add another 500 or 800 lbs and the MB would be awesome. I personally don''t enjoy riding wide wakes. The thought of coming up short and catching an edge gets in my head. I would g with the MB all day long.

That's the same as the V212,it has a wide wake for a boat that's <8' beam.

I strongly discourage you to get a 226 for wakeboarding. I have done a lot of riding behind them. Even did the photo shoot with them for their catalogue when it first came out. Wake is garbage. White washy, wide and soft. Can't get it very big either as it takes an ungodly amount of weight to sink it and the engine can't handle it. The boat is amazing for surfing though. Not to mention the price tag is ridiculous for a supreme. You can get a much better boat for the same price

Thanks Guys. Good info. Guess I'll leave the V226 alone...since I haven't retired to surfing yet.
