Way better than just putting it on the wall, and we mounted it using the screw holes for the fins so if I ever need the board I can unbolt it, put the fins back on, and she's good to go.

Yea, I'd get a couple of the old footstrap type bindings installed....and lower the fuzzy thing on the left to an easier reach.
