With the lake so quiet, we had company down by the water. This is the first time we've seen a buck down at the water line.

We saw one swimming across the river one day, I thought it was a dog at first but when we got closer we saw that it was young buck, they swim really well, I have seen a few slithery creatures in the water too.

The picture didn't look that blurry until I posted it. Sorry.

No, no wildlife at all in the Florida ponds.

Few redneck families taking their weekly bath, but no wildlife.

Ed! You have SIGNS prohibiting the feeding of alligators where you surf! :-)

That sign said "Don't feed the Gators".

Florida isn't exactly known for being the education state. Many college students end up depending on handouts from tourists.

Another Florida school makes their students believe they are American Indians and after graduation they try to live off subsidies from the U.S. Government - the Seminoles.

Then there are the Hurricanes. No one wants a hurricane.

Oh! Not Alligator's, U of F Gators! So I could have tossed that raw whole chicken to the alligator in the weeds, after all! :-)
