My boat has a pin strip the break's the Red gell from the White gell. It was a Super Flake pin stripe it had some scuffs and it was time to replace it. I have replaced it once all ready. I got the Idea about a reflective pin stripe. I asked my friend how owns a graphics company if they made reflective in that size. The answer was NO they don't but he could have it cut to what ever thickness I wanted as long as I bout 150 feet of it, So with that out of the way The tape showed up on Friday and I got to install it. Its Not super Flake Silver but more of a light silver almost White.

After I installed it you can almost see it glow in the day.

Here are few shots at night.

Its pretty easy if you have done it before. I have done a few Nautiques as well as have done car's in my other life/ The trick with this stuff is. If you stretch it it breaks down the reflective. Example if you mess up on normal pin strip tape you can pull it back and go again. If you do this with this stuff it messes it up.and you have a Un even reflective portion

I like it. Once you put it on how does it stay protected from water, etc?

Chase: Ill keep it as long as I still like it. Boat works perfict for me so I don't see why I would drop 100k to on a new set up. I do have my eye on a New Bennington
Tom N: The Stock pin stripe on the boat is just a Automotive grade stripe. How do you protect it??? Answer you don't bash into anything, and its fine. Water dosen't hurt it.
Encounters with the dock and fuel from the overflow seem to be the only things that mess it up.

Is that the reflective vinyl with crushed glass in it? I have used the crushed glass variety and when light hits it at night it is BRIGHT! Almost a super yellow/white.

Looks great G. That's one of the cleanest boats for being nearly a decade old! Did you do the spare tire relocation?
