I am new to wakeboarding and I take ALOT of new people and they all seem to progress about the same with a few exceptions.

First time out, 4-6 runs people learn how to get up, go over the wake and small sprays.

Second and third time out, they generally improve in those areas and start doing one wake jumps and landing usually on the 3rd or 4th trip.

After that is usually not a form problem, its a balls problem. It takes balls to hit that wake fast enough to get wake to wake so people get it at differnt times. It takes a lot to get wake to wake on my boat too since its almost 9 feet wide.

There was one guy I took 2 weeks ago that never surfed, skated or anything, he was only 15 and it took him FOREVER to get up. Once he got up though, he was doing one wake jumps and grabs that same day. I havnt taken him since. Hes the fastest learner I've seen yet.

It took me 3 times out to get wake to wake.

On this note, i've been boarding for almost a year, i've leant quite a few grabs, and a grab 180(sometimes) just wondering how that is for progress, what should i try and learn now?? back flip? 360? heelside 180?

Any tips would be great

cheers
