First time ever wakeboard jump over tourist boat

Jumping over cars in a monster truck is so 1995!
German wakeboard superstars Steffen Vollert and Tom Richter took the next step and did the first jumps ever over a tourist boat at the harbor of Hamburg.

I hope I'm not the only person who thinks this is lame. Of course they can clear the tourist boat. The ramp was set up right in front of it. As long as they hit the kicker correctly there was no way they couldn't clear it. It would have been a little cooler if they threw some tricks while jumping it at least.

As far as bringing wakeboarding to the mass's that is cool as hell, nice work :-)

and I am sure is was scary for those riders.

What i think people are reading here in this discussion thread is a miss leading description of presentation and i quote "one of a kind" that would imply no one has done anything like this or implicate it's gnarr factor is at the peak, which would be grossly False.

Again props for bring it to the public, and cool video.

I think a lot of bagging on people happens in these discussion threads because people bring it on them selves, by what they just did was the best thing to ever happen on a wakeboard……...just present your video as hey this is the sickest thing "we" as in your group has done. I think it will be received much better………psshhh probably not….. knowing all the haters in the "wake" world :-)

Yea, the wording kinda doomed it for here. But for countries that are just starting to come into their own it probably is exciting. "were trying to push our sport over here & we did this to draw excitement" would have been received much better.. But ride on & keep pushing.

Logan is an awesome rider, I was lucky enough to get to get to see him ride when he showed up at my yacht club trying to bum a ride. To this day I wish my boat was working that day, but we got him out behind a sea doo jet boat (like the one in the first video) and he threw down! it was nuts! I will never forget saying to him" Holy s**t you are the guy that did a raley over the boat!" Small world...
