I am new to the New Braufels Texas area and I wanted to know if there were any boardshops around besides TSR?

If you're willing to drive to SA there's a shop called Sail & Ski. They sell Nautiques & have a bunch of wake gear. That's pretty much it other than TSR.

What's wrong with TSR?! Got my setup there two weeks ago. I thought it would be overpriced but they gave me just as good of a deal as buywake/wakeside and they are really knowledgeable.

The only problem w/ TSR is they don't carry many wakesurfers. I bought my one board and bindings from them and they are extremely nice. The owner only lives a couple of houses down from us.

James is McQueeney a good lake to Wakeboard on. My folks just bought a boat 3 weeks ago(Searay 240 Sundeck)and a slip at canyon at one of the marinas. I don't really know much about boating in this area or what lakes are the best. Canyon seems to be pretty decent riding(i ride in one of the coves).

I did not say anything was wrong with TSR. I was just asking if there were any others. It is always nice to check out other shops.

James, where on Lake McQueeney? I am in Las Brias

Drive into Austin and there are a ton of shops. My personal favorite is the pro shop at South Austin Marine.

Hey Mike Z, Austin is just right up the road from you and we have several shops.

The Wakeshop at South Austin Marine and BoatTown are the closest to you since they are south.

Austn Surf Company carries surfers... and some custom built surfers.

Chase its a Searay 240 sundeck unfortunately. My parents wouldn't get a real wakeboard boat :/. I have a tower though and the wake is decent.

Pretty cool to see more from the area on here. Guys, hit me up if you ever need a third. I'm down to go ride wherever. We have a Glastron w/tower out at Cranes Mill. I've been skating behind it lately since the wake isn't all that, but we always have a blast. I'll be out this Sat & Sun early morning. Stop & say Hi if you see us.
