I know there are a lot of board questions but I'm looking for a new board and want to get something that is good for my size. I am 5'10" and about 180lbs. I demoed a Hyperlite Landlock and I couldn't get in the sweet spot. I now there are tons of factors for why that is but when I buy a board I want to get the right one for me. Eventually, I want to be able to shred the wake, not just cruise, so Im thinking a smaller board would be better for more mobility. I'm just not sure that a smaller board will float me. Right now I'm thinking a Tsunami or Ride. Any thoughts?

I'm 5'11" and weigh 180 lbs. I have a CWB Ride and it works very well for me as far as surfing without the rope, although I haven't really started shredding the wake yet. I started wakesurfing last fall and learned pretty fast on the Ride.
