2010 vs. 2009 Slingshot Response?

I've been searching for the exact changes they made from the 09 to 10 response but haven't been able to find the right thread. For those of you that have ridden both of these shapes, do you think the changes are worth buying a 10 at full price instead of an 09 at half price?

I know I saw these changes on here a while ago, but since I can't seem to find it again I appreciate your responses!

07/08 was first gen
09 started the 2nd gen, and I think 2010 is about the same

I thought that 07 08 and 09 were pretty much the same except for base material in 09 and lighter rail material in 08. For 10 it looks like they tweeked the shape a little at least in the tail and nose.

09 is a whole new shape

07/08 are the same
ALL NEW 09 (much better IMO)
2010 seems to be the same as the 09

He is talking about the response not the recoil. The recoil changed in 09, the response did not. The response changed for this year.

On a side note, coming from someone in marketing...I understand the REasoning behind all the names of the boards starting with RE but damn does it get confusing on here. Everytime I read a post on SS I have to say, is that the 3 stage, hybrid, or continuous board!

the only difference that I know of is the change in the tip and tail shape. for the continuous rocker-ed response

but yea, the similar names do have a hard time rolling off the tongue. I predict that the next board/name to join the line will be "REbound" ;) all in fun in saying this of course

It's really pretty simple, there are only 3 boards:

Recoil - 3 stage
Response - Continous
Reflex - Hybrid

Never ridden a previous version of the Response, but the 2010 is super legit. Coming from a 09 Lyman to it there was no transistion and I find them to ride very similar.

I have both the 2009 and 2010 of the Response and Recoil's and can't tell the 09's from the 10's....just the graphics as far as I can tell. I would call a local shop that carries SS and ask to be sure, but I'm guessing they didn't change much.

well I just got the 10 response, I have never rode the 09, but all I have to say the new response in the yellow looks hella good..... just sayin
