I had a 2001 X-10/Maristar. I had the 3 tank KGB system, two hard tanks and center locker ballast. I would fill the port hard tank, put a 750 in the port locker (won't fill all the way) and a tube sack under the flip up seat. I then would put a 200-400 lb fly high V Drive sack on the port bow area. Perfect pass set to 12.7. Worked pretty good. Sometimes put a 200-400 sack on the floor nestled up to the port side seat.

Unless you put the lead in the bow I would recommend some bow weight or people weight.

I've got a MariStar 210 that I'll be surfing on soon. I'll try this and keep you updated.

The fly high integrated bow sack worked great for me too. Forgot that I had that. I used the center ballast hoses to fill and empty it and had a separate vent out the side. You can get extension fittings from flow-rite which have a barb on one end and a quick connect fitting on the other end and then just snap the black red L shaped fly high fitting on it.
